What a maintenance visit entails?

We will start with checking the premises for any overgrown tree/bushes that have grown since and are affecting the line of sight for the cameras.

That no tampering/vandalism has occurred and the number and type of cameras are as previously installed.
DVR/NVR will be checked and refreshed with any updated software if needed
Lenses and Indicator lamps are working correctly and are clean from spider webs etc
Warning labels are still in place and cameras/sensors haven't been taken off the wall by another installer
All cables and conduit are properly supported, undamaged and showing no signs of wear
Physical fixings of all equipment are sound, and not loose or corroded
All sealed areas on external equipment are still in place and if not this will be resealed

CCTV for special events & occasions

Thinking of putting on a large event then more than likely you will need CCTV.

This is to make sure the environment is safe and secure for all those in attendance.

Raaj CCTV have supplied and leased out security systems for many events over the years. All be it for temporary events including outdoor markets to music festivals and other popular hospitality events especially that take place over the summer periods.

Depending on the nature and size of your event, we have a wide range of options that are suitable. As an example the bar area at an event is an important spot that needs covering, for the safety of staff and others plus keep an eye on the till.

Servicing reports

We have service plans available for those of you that would like to make one annual payment for a service.

We always recommend taking out a CCTV maintenance schedule to make sure your security systems remain in perfect working order and don’t fail you when it’s needed the most.

Once a maintenance visit has been completed, you will receive a Maintenance Report which will inform you of any repairs or works recommended to prolong the lifespan of your system. We will explain if the work needed is a requirement or an issue that needs rectifying quickly as it could affect the functionality of your system. A price will be given for the works needed and if we are able to complete this on site; then we will.

Note: Services must take place at least once a year just before winter. Warranty could be affected if systems are not serviced to prevent unnecessary issues occurring.

IMPORTANT:

Power outages* / severe weather* can affect your systems. Follow National grid for guidance and updates or your local governing body (ofgem) for detailed information regarding keeping all appliances protected and if you’re affected, support on how to keep safe.

* Any damage caused to systems following severe weather/power outages are not covered under our warranties.

We advise to use anti surge adapters or turn equipment off by the switches until it’s safe to continue, Also contact your home/commercial insurance provider to check if you are covered.

Service/call out is important if you feel severe weather/outages may have damaged your equipment.
