NOTIFICATIONS/ALERTS
TRIGGERS ALERTS AND NOTIFICATIONS ARE NOT ERROR PROOF. CCTV WORKING ABROAD IS BASED ON YOUR WIFI AND DATA USE AND NOT A RAAJCCTV ISSUE. WE ADVISE ALL CUSTOMERS PRIOR TO BE AWARE OF THIS.
Raajcctv are NOT responsible if notifications or alerts stop working, or fail to work during or after the installation.
There are many reasons why this may happen.
– The APPS used do not belong to Raajcctv they are owned by the maufacturer of your system.
– The APPS may have a glitch/error or are being updated on a world wide basis. Which means everytime there is an update something will change for the better but may cause an issue if your phones are not compatible, or you change broadband/new phone.
As we are the installer/supplier of the system we have no power over the APPS therefore this will not be deemed as a RaajCCTV system/installation failure.
-We will do our best to advise about the situation and seek extra guidance if all is working elsewhere and on Raajcctv equipment then the customer will have to look into the issues with their providers. (phones- speed – firewall etc)
Raajcctv will not compensate customers or refund as the CCTV will be working.
Technology and software updates will always cause disruption as thats is technology for you. As long as you have CCTV footage that is the main purpose its intended for.
Further time spent assisting will be charged as a call out plus time spent after initial first inspection has been made by Raajcctv and advice given.
VERY IMPORTANT
Your phones must be on the latest software update – iOS for iphones and latest version for Androids phones. Make sure this is the case before choosing to invest in and security systems that you want your phones/tablets/laptops to view on.
If your phone is older or not updated this will affect updated CCTV APPS synchronising if your phones are incapable to take the updates. Once there is an update your phones may stop receiving alerts/notifications.
Your broadband speed/firewall etc will affect this too, again this is NOT a CCTV issue and we can not assist with this. If in doubt contact your network providers for expert advise and assistance to rectify issues. Going on holiday/ away from home, once again you may not get every alert or notification as this is based on the wifi and data being used where you are.
We will keep customers updated if we are made aware of any major glitch from the APP maufacturers via facebook and our website.
Replacements you receive in relation to an original product, that time limit still stands – so the replacement product would only be under guarantee for whatever time period was still remaining from the original guarantee.
Or to put it simply, if you buy a TV guaranteed for a year and it breaks down after five months, the replacement TV would only be guaranteed for seven months.
We cover the whole of Yorkshire and have travelled further afield – Nationwide if that what a customer wants.
Once you book in for a Site Survey, we will give you an slot to be seen suited around your schedule. Raaj will visit you and discuss your options and what you would like to secure your property. When you are happy to go ahead a small deposit is taken to secure your installation date. This is taken off the final payment upon completion. (if this isn’t paid swiftly, your date could be given to another customer)
Share our business details with others and by all means if they mention your name and take out an install of a minimum of x2 cameras they will receive a discount. Keep sharing and spreading the word.

Our biggest seller after CCTV are Smart Alarms, these work with your mobile phones and trigger to alert you. Rtaher than neighbours who are not so interested. Smarter thieves means we need to outsmart them with intelligent technology.
We would advise on using our cables though as premade cable that comes with your system may not be the quality we would like to install.

We are working towards becoming a Dementia friendly business and have supported many families. Also helping the aged to keep their dignity whilst families can keep an eye onthem when they are away. We would visit you and discuss all your needs.
We would like to make families aware that during the survey a family member MUST be present for the survey as there is important information to be given prior to the install. If extra family members want the footage on their phones so thay can keep an eye on their loved ones, as long as they are present on the day of the install, then this can be accomplished.
If not then a charge will be applied if we have to come out again/if they buy a new phone etc and need the footage placing back on their phones.
100% Yes! Customers are choosing RaajCCTV as we offer free mobile cctv viewing, the only extra might be a wifi device – depending on where the DVR is placed.
We will activate this with your commercial or domestic CCTV installation.
Mobile CCTV allows your phones (smartphone/Android) to watch live footage from anywhere with a safe internet connection.
NOTE:
Your footage to your phones is dependant on your wifi and broadband/mobile phone data provider, if there are any issues regarding slow footage or lack of footage/notifications delayed or not being received, this will not be a CCTV system/installation issue and you need to contact your providers to inspect the speed you are receiving is sufficient. CCTV systems are not viewed in real time and dependent on your broadband there will be a time delay in receiving triggers/alerts. If this is something you may have an issue with then we would advise installing a top end IP system. We will have discussed this and all the information and it will be on your receipt/survey form provided. If you have asked about this.
Loss of the app or changes made like a new phone/broadband/deleted the app accidently etc will incur a call out fee and a charge to initiate the process again. Over the phone instructions can be given but there will be a fee to be paid upfront prior to the call being booked in and allocated. Even if you are still under warranty the charges apply.
Our engineers are fully qualified. We will do our utmost to hide the cables where possible and that might be along other cables already there or areas such as pipes and fittings, we have many other ways of doing this. However, sometimes the cables cant be hidden and will show, but we will ensure the cables run nice and neatly. This will be discussed during the survey. If any issues regarding cables then this must be discussed during the survey. So we can have a smooth installation.
When viewing remotely via mobile APP, it is very important to have a good upload speed to ensure an excellent viewing quality.
If this isn’t the case then you need to contact your provider to secure a stronger upload. Slow internet/fibre speeds will affect receiving alerts and footage on your phones.
Plus any spam blockers, firewalls or malware may block you receiving triggers and alerts.
This is not a CCTV system issue, and we will be unable to rectify this. You may want to talk to your mobile network provider or get assistance regarding taking the software off/lowering it to allow this to work or going on to a better service. This is not a CCTV issue and upon completion payments must be made.
If you have restarted the system, phones and your broadband and you are confident the issue it not with your internet, then please don’t hesitate to contact us.
